CHINT was firstly co-founded by Mr. Cunhui Nan and a few other local entrepreneur partners in July 1984. Headquartered in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, on southeast coast of China, CHINT has been developing from a home workshop to a large modernized enterprise group with six specialized branches, more than 50 holding companies and over 800 specialized cooperative partners. It has also aggressively extended its production range into High-voltage Electrical Products and Automation & Energy Meters (our main organization structure). Main products line of CHINT covers the following categories: high, Medium and low voltage electrical apparatus, power transmission and distribution equipments, measuring meters and instruments, and electrical products for construction, telecommunication and automobile applications (our products). CHINT has established a sound sales network composed with more than 2000 agents through all over China. Meanwhile, CHINT has successively set up eight branches or offices in USA, Middle East, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Great Britain and International sales network, as well, comprises with more than 30 agents, sole distributors, distributors, local partners over the whole world. Since the establishment of the company, CHINT people always keeps this motto in their hearts: we would rather spend millions of dollars more to prevent even one piece of unqualified products go out of our workshop. Many of CHINT products are certified under important international certificates, such as, CB, UL, CEBEC, KEMA, SEMKO, PCT, VDE, FI, ESC, RCC and IMQ, and CHINT has become a reputed enterprise in the industry. The reputation earns CHINT contracts in key international projects with whole-set services such as the National Electricity Corporation of Italy, Shanxi Yangcheng Power plant which is the biggest firepower project in Asia, the Yangtze River Three-Gorge Dam project, Beijing international Airport, China Central Television, Daqing Oil Refinery and Shanghai Bao Steel Plant.
